Non Screen Day!

Non-Screen Day!

After the success of our non-screen day to launch Children’s Mental Health Week we have decided that after half term we will set aside an afternoon a week for your child to take part in a well-being activity. This will be known as ‘Well-Being Wednesday’.

You will receive a grid of suggested ideas of activities, for the entire half-term, for your child to take part in to promote and support their social, emotional and personal development. These activities are non-compulsory and are there to promote a healthy balance between remote learning and personal well-being.

Your child will still receive the full remote learning offer, as outlined in our remote learning policy, but we encourage the children to take a well-deserved break away from the screens and from schoolwork on a Wednesday afternoon.

Please note, we do not expect parents to record or upload anything onto Class Dojo in response to Well-being Wednesdays as we realise this may feel like added pressure. We hope you agree that this will highly benefit the children in our school.
