WFIS & Nursery Has Talent

At Wallace Fields Infant School & Nursery we relish the opportunity to celebrate ‘in and out of school’ achievements accomplished by the children.  These successes can take many forms, whether it be a sporting success or hobby related or perhaps a personal achievement or even a kind gesture!  Please don’t forget to share these personal triumphs with us so we can showcase them to a wider audience and give the children the adulation they so rightly deserve!

Well Done to Rosie C

Well Done to Rosie C Well done to Rosie C who wrote a story called 'The Escape' for the BBC 500 words competition. This took weeks of hard work and determination. What a fantastic achievement! 

Well Done to Isabella A​​​​​​​

Isabella took part in her first ever singing talent show with her singing school, after only starting group singing lessons 2 months ago. In front of a room full of people, she sang her heart out. Isabella performed 'Do-Re'Mi' from The Sound of Music and did excellently. She was extremely brave, and we are so proud!

Well Done to Hugh D​​​​​​​

Congratulations to Hugh D for competing in his first ever Judo competition in the under 8s on Saturday. Having only started judo this term, he was very brave to have a go at the Samurai Sam competition, even winning a few matches. Well done Hugh on receiving the trophy, we are so proud of you!

Carter enjoys playing football in his spare time and has played for various teams. Carter was scouted by Chelsea Football Club and invited to train with them every week at their Development Centre in Cobham, which he found very exciting particularly as he is a Chelsea football Fan! Well done to Max R​​​​​​​

Huge congratulations to Max R who has completed his first 5km parkrun on 31st December.  He showed great determination and resilience through the mud and rain to finish in just over 40 mins, coming 5th in the under 10s.

Huge congratulations to Sofia T from Badger class who has made real progress in swimming this term. She has worked really hard and pushed herself. She has earned herself a certificate and promotion into the next class!
