We have a wealth of expertise in teacher and staff training and are delighted to be part of South Farnham School, who deliver the Schools Direct programme. 

We believe that ‘on the job’ training is the best way in learning how to become an excellent classroom teacher and can offer training on our SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training) and School Direct programmes for placements in September 2021.

We are delighted to be a partner school for South Farnham SCITTs.

South Farnham SCITT delivers Ofsted outstanding school-based initial teacher training for primary and secondary teachers across London and the Southeast, in partnership with George Abbot SCITT. In true collaboration, the two Ofsted outstanding SCITTs, each with over 20 years’ experience leading ITT are coming together to become one provider for the 2024-2025 academic year.  This shared vision to recruit and train the outstanding teachers of the future, brings stability and continuity to our local primary and secondary school workforce.

Through an extensive and diverse partnership of schools, primary and secondary trainees are placed into geographically organised cohorts across the London Boroughs and Southeast, minimising travel for trainees and allowing applicants to train and work in their local community.

Our teacher training programmes have children’s best interests at the core. Working together, and as one, we strive to develop best practice so that children across the region experience teaching of the highest quality, underpinned by outstanding research-based training and development opportunities for all.

Apprenticeships

• We also run a number of apprenticeships schemes through the below providers, so if you have GCSE Maths & English Level 4 or above (or equivalent) and have a desire to launch your career in childcare and education please do get in touch. 
• We also offer voluntary placements within our school and nursery (DBS clearance (and references) are necessary and the DBS can be arranged via the school)
