Character education is systematically planned for all children at Wallace Fields infant School & Nursery to ensure we are supporting the children to become good citizens. We believe that it is not only important for the children to be highly motivated but we want them to understand the importance of being intrinsically motivated as this supports them to show greater levels of persistence challenge and achievement. 

Our school values Kindness, effort, determination, friendship, good manners, respect and reflection are taught explicitly in the classroom but they are also part of everything we do. All staff within the school also model the values, and relationships show the importance of mutual respect. Children and adults are expected to demonstrate our school rules 'Respect, Ready, Responsible.'
