Places at Shining Stars Nursery are offered on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Should you wish to register your child for a Nursery place, please complete a Shining Stars Registration Form.

A deposit of £150 is required with all completed registration forms, accompanied with a copy of your child’s Birth Certificate.
Once we have received your registration and deposit we will confirm within 1 week if a place is available for your child. Once we have confirmed there is a place for your child, your deposit will be credited to your account and refundable against the first term’s invoice.
You can then be safe in the knowledge that a place has been secured for your child for the first important steps in their education. If we are unfortunately unable to offer a place for your child at Shining Stars Nursery the deposit will be refunded in full.
Should you be offered a place which you subsequently decline, the deposit will not be refundable.
There is a minimum requirement of 3 sessions per week for Little Stars (in their first term) and 5 sessions a week thereafter. There is a minimum of 5 sessions per week for Big Stars. When your booking confirmation is received, please check the details are correct and notify us of any discrepancies within 3 working days.
Once your booking is confirmed, any alterations or cancellations will require a minimum of half a terms notice given in writing. Failure to do so will incur a charge for half a term’s fees.
Cost of Sessions
The current cost of each session is £17. However, our Nursery is registered for eligible children to receive the Early Years Free Entitlement (EYFE) funding.
This is paid to eligible children in the term after they reach 3 years old (e.g. a child who is 3 in January becomes eligible for EYFE in the following April). Currently the EYFE grant covers £12.45 of the £17 cost, so parents receiving the funding will be invoiced the difference of £4.55 per session.
Payment of Sessions
You will be sent an invoice at the start of each term showing the total cost of your child’s booked sessions.
Payment is due within 7 days of the date of the invoice. Payments can be made , by BACS transfer to our bank, cheque or via childcare vouchers. Watch out for Online payments to be lanched soon!
Failure to pay, may result in your child losing their place at the Nursery.
